Woosh! Time is flying. I’ve been working trying to get everything together for my art exhibition. I only have about a week before the show…*gasp*
You should have seen me running around the mall at the beginning of the week. I really needed to get a navy skirt to go with the oriental Chinese shirt I’ll be wearing for my show. Ugh, I already knew that navy was going to be tough to find…but I didn’t think it would be nearly impossible. I ran around to probably every story that sold women’s clothing in the mall–searching through the juniors, petites, misses, and even in the kids’ section. I’m just tiny…that and COLORS are in. Waaa, I don’t want a pink and purple suit or neon blue skirt.
I did find one eventually…literally in the corner of a nook inside Forever XXI. It was exactly what I wanted; it’s just a surprise that of all the places I found a plain, boring skirt there.
Don’t get me started on trying to find a graduation dress. Just reread the top paragraph, insert dress, and capitalize/bold/throw in some fireworks at the word COLOR. Colors may be in, but I can’t wear a neon green, hounds-tooth dress across the stage
Anyway, if you’re in Spartanburg, come swing by to see my art exhibition! All of the digitally designed artist books I’ve been making over the past few months for my thesis will be on display.
